Atlanta, GA, July 1, 2008— Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), operators of nine public television stations and seventeen public radio stations statewide, has selected Public Radio Partners (PRP) as their exclusive agent for all local corporate underwriting, as of July 1, 2008.
PRP welcomes the opportunity to represent GPB, a station that underscores its breadth of service throughout Georgia with strong community focus, excelling in locally produced original programming.
As the first joint licensee station PRP will represent, we are looking forward to developing a sales strategy that blends the multifaceted corporate support possibilities, ranging cross-media from local centric to statewide appeal. We aim to create a streamlined buying experience for the underwriter that fortifies the GPB brand amid all the options.
The underwriting team, under the direction of Jim Taszarek, Jr. will continue to work from GPB’s offices in Atlanta.
