WVIZ/PBS & WCPN 90.3 ideastream has selected Public Radio Partners (PRP) as their exclusive agent for all local corporate underwriting, as of October 1, 2008.
PRP considers the representation of ideastream an exciting opportunity to be a part of the innovation so characteristic of this public media service organization. Stemming from a merger in 2001 that brought together public radio station 90.3 WCPN and WVIZ/PBS, ideastream partners with others to leverage all its assets to serve the region.
PRP intends to maximize the multimedia programs and events that ideastream provides, to offer strong, meaningful solutions for local corporate supporters. In the spirit of collaboration, PRP will be able to share best strategies developed in representation of its nine other public media clients, in particular Georgia Public Broadcasting, a joint licensee that became a PRP client this past July.
The ideastream underwriting team, under the direction of Kirk Nelson will continue to work from the Idea Center™ at Playhouse Square in Cleveland.
